Introduction:

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) are a population of well characterized adult stem cells. Under proper induction, they can differentiate into many cell types including fat, cartilage, bone, tendons, and muscle^{1, 2}.  Due to their differentiation capacities, there is a growing interest in in the potential use of these cells for regenerative medicine.

PrimCells is proud to offer mesenchymal stem cells isolated from bone marrow of Sprague Dawley rats.  These cells are cryopreserved at very early passages (1-2) and can maintain their pluripotency under suggested conditions for at least 3-4 passages. They are positive with CD44, CD90, CD29 and have been routinely tested for their differentiation abilities. They will be your ideal choice for your MSC related researches.
